Instructors Wanted! Ron Smith & Associates, Incorporated has entered into a contractual agreement with the International Association for Identification to co-sponsor technical forensic related training throughout the United States and other countries. Offering a quality slate of forensic training seminars requires the very best available forensic instructors and RS & A Inc. is soliciting training proposals from qualified experienced instructors in any field related to forensic science. These proposals, which will be considered confidential, will be examined carefully for content and current applicability and the resumes of the instructors will be thoroughly investigated to insure the integrity of the overall program. Individuals whose training seminar proposals appear to possess significant technical merit, and are applicable to today’s current forensic needs, will be contacted by RS & A Inc. for further discussion and possible contract negotiation. Frequency of training opportunities will be based on market research conducted by forensic staff members of RS & A, Incorporated. Instructors possessing current passports will be considered for international training assignments as they become available. Ron Smith & Associates, Inc. will be responsible for all advertisements of the training seminars and will team up with the hosting agencies for other on site logistical arrangements so that the instructors will only be responsible for doing what they do best, TEACHING! Payments to instructors will be negotiated on a flat seminar rate and will be paid in full to the instructor, regardless of the final profit/loss position of RS & A Incorporated. Any instructor who is interested in being considered as an instructor in this program must submit a “Seminar Training Proposal” packet, which must include, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Complete and current curriculum vitae. 2. List of seminars or courses taught within the last three years, including names and contact telephone numbers or email addresses of sponsors of your training. (Very Important). Also include the # of classroom hours for each seminar taught and approximate # of students taught in each seminar. 3. Color photograph of the instructor. (Suitable for website and direct mail advertising) 4. General description of the seminar you would like to be considered for teaching. (Single paragraph to explain topic) 5. Outline of your proposed seminar listing the individual modules of instruction and the learning objective of each module or major topic area. 6. “Student Ready” copy of any and all handout material that would be provided to each student. (Includes practical exercise materials). Note: RS & A Inc. will consider this confidential material and it will be used initially for evaluative purposes only. It is very important that this information be submitted in EXACTLY the same condition as it would be if it were given to a paying student on the first day of the seminar. If the seminar appears to be technically/logistically viable and financially marketable then this proposal information would be used to prepare advertising brochures and website marketing. If the proposal is not accepted then the submitted material will be returned to the submitter with a critique if requested or without critique if so desired. 7. The proposal also needs to include the following information:
If after reading these requirements you feel that you would like to be considered as a future instructor of Ron Smith & Associates, Incorporated, we encourage you to gather the required information and forward it to our office for review and inspection by our forensic training coordinators. We will do all we can to examine it as expeditiously as possible. The International Association for Identification reserves the right, under our contractual agreement, to reject any course or seminar, which in their opinion is deemed non-acceptable due to technical merit, therefore, a synopsis of your proposal will be forwarded to the I.A.I for their review prior to any decision being made.
